The Artist: Sewing the Shirt & Pants

Now that you finished sewing The Artist’s hair and face it is now time to attach the head to the shirt and the shirt to the pants. We’ll also give your doll some paint splotches! These next steps can be sewn by hand or sewing machine - click on one of the videos below to continue sewing.

Materials/supplies to have on hand:

• Doll’s head pieces (front and back)

• White shirt pieces (two total)

• Grey pant pieces (two total)

• Half of your paint splotches (these will be in the plastic bag inside your kit)

• Sewing pins

• Spool of white thread

• Scissors to clip threads

• Hand sewing needle (if you will be sewing these steps by hand)

• Threaded sewing machine (if you will be sewing these steps by machine)
