The Astronaut Jr: Sewing the Head to the Body

Now that you finished sewing The Astronaut Jr’s hair and face it is now time to attach the head to the body. These next steps can be sewn by hand or sewing machine - click on one of the videos below to continue sewing.

Materials/supplies to have on hand:

  • Doll’s head (front and back pieces)

  • Orange body pieces (two total)

  • Blue felt circle (this is pre-cut and in the plastic bag in your kit)

  • Sewing pins

  • Spool of white thread

  • Scissors

  • Hand sewing needle

  • Threaded sewing machine (if you will be sewing these steps by machine)
