The Avocado Pillow: Sewing the Face & Seed

Let’s give this avocado some character! Our first sewing step will be attaching the avocado’s eyes, cheeks and mouth (or pit!). This video will walk through all of these steps with hand sewing - it is pretty tricky to sew small pieces like this on a sewing machine. Feel free to use your sewing machine if you would rather though!

Materials/supplies to have on hand:

• Light green fleece layer

• Two small black felt circles

• Two small pink felt circles

• One brown felt circle

• Sewing pins

• Hand sewing needle

• Thread

• Scissors to clip threads
